Campaign Reports and PWYW Preview of Undeadwood WWRPG

I really enjoyed creating podcasts for my players to summzarize our last play sessions and build up lore for Xen this past Spring. I've decided to do that and take it up to 11 for my current campaign Undeadwood Weird West RPG, especially as I have been building a game for scratch that has turned out to be pretty darned good.

And so, with two episodes now live online that are a mix of developer's blog, world building, and play reports, I wanted to share that podcast with you here. It will be live on major podcasting platforms over the next month or so.

Dead Man's Dice

A play report, lore building project, and development blog for Undeadwood Weird West RPG

Episode 1 is an introduction to Wonkatonkwa County, some basics of the game, a summary of the original characters created, and a narrated recounting of our first play-test battle. Essentially our "Session Zero."

Episode 2 summarizes the first three play sessions (there have been five so far) with as much dramatic flare as I can give it.

Show notes and more are available here.

Of course, what good is a podcast about a game if you can't see if for yourself?

Undeadwood Werid West RPG Dead Man's Dice Preview Version

Which is why I have also put out a PWYW preview version of Undeadwood WWRPG on DriveThruRPG. It is a complete, fully-functional weird west TTRPG.

I have trimmed it down, leaving out the expanded magic rules, character development, and leaving out many of the character traits, monsters, and Soul Wrangling (GMing) resources, and included only about 1/3 of the Wonkatonkwa gazetteer, but everything that you can hear in the podcast can be re-enacted with the preview.

Eventually, I hope to replace it with a more streamlined quick-start document eventually.

Get it on DTPRG here!
